ADDITIONAL DETAILS
(1) ONLINE SESSIONS: We’ll meet once a month for a full day of writing, learning, and sharing:
Between sessions, you’ll work on your project so that you have something to share before the next session. A WhatsApp group will be set up for accountability and check-ins with each other.

LOCATION: Online (Zoom)
GROUP SIZE: Min 6, max 10 writers
- 10 am — 1 pm Seminar on memoir craft, structure, and storytelling (all times are Madrid/Paris/Berlin time zone)
- 2 pm — 5 pm Facilitated group workshopping session designed to provide you with thoughtful feedback from your tutor and your fellow writers (all times are Madrid/Paris/Berlin time zone)
- During that week, scheduled separately--a 45-minute private 1:1 tutorial with your tutor

Margarita presented the materials in such away that it was easy to absorb and understand. Margarita is funny and charming, and her style is conversational. She brings a lot of credibility, with her personal accomplishments and successful journey as a writer herself. I left the workshop feeling inspired, and with some new tools to use in my craft.
Another highlight of the workshop was getting to meet other participants and hear their stories. The other writers were highly engaged and encouraging of one another. It was all-around a positive experience.

(2) A TWO-DAY RETREAT (OPTIONAL)
Wrap up your five-month journey with an in-person retreat focused exclusively on polishing an essay you could submit for publication. This retreat will help you complete an essay that:
- Could put your work in front of agents and publishers
- Might provide you with a byline and a publication credit
- And who knows, perhaps, may go viral and get you a publishing deal and a Netflix series (not guaranteed, of course!)
We’ll gather at the Retreats for You in Sheepwash (Devon, UK) for:
- One-on-one tutorials (1 hour per participant)
- Structured group feedback circles
- Space to write, edit, and polish
